I really must not have a sense of humor because everywhere on the net I see things similar and people comment on on how hillarious it all is. What the hell is wrong with me? No, wait a minute. I laugh at movies. I laugh at Seinfield. I laugh at Family guy. What is it , that I just don't see things like this funny. Is it because it is trying so hard to be funny or is it that I don't know funny or is it that is just does not strike me as particualarly funny. Well what ever it is I thought I would write a comment to ask all you people who thought that it was funny to tell me why it was funny. Or at least tell me why it is not stupid. Because to me, the premise is not funny. I mean when you are drunk you pee on a tree and when you are on "shrums" it is changing color etc....... let me please explain my impression of where this comes from, and why it might be funny.
A while ago, there were pictures of a swingset projects and different types of management, how the swingset would look out. this points out the problems with each management, how they screw up differently. You see, it's not ironic persay, or knee jerk funny. but it's [i]sardonic[/i].
Now, this is an adaptation i believe of the sort of, different perspective way of looking at things. When you have an illustrated picture of the situation from the other [b]perspective[/b] it's almost sardonic. It's interesting, quirky, and funny.

I found humor in it because someone took a simple item, like a tree, and varied it in different ways that I found most enjoyable through the way through drugs, mostly, because I easily can relate. And every time I'm drunk, I do tend to pee on trees, and as do my friends. And I'm assuming that you've never fried before because there is a serious color changing effect. I just don't agree so much on the ecstasy one because most people would care for the trees too much to cut it down.

I think that people like you have a different perspective of what the Internet is and can be. The Internet isn't television. I see the Internet as a place to be artistic, to try new things, even if they are completely stupid. Not everything has to be obvious or even purposeful. It's just people showing you what they have come up with. It's just ideas. A place to be expressive.
I thought this was original and funny (not hilarious ) and I appreciate people coming up with and sharing new ideas. New ideas inspire others.
At least be sophisticated enough to understand that the entire world isn't tailored to fit you and everyones tastes. Diversity of thoughts and intellectual levels are extreme. Television is focused on the average likes, and assumes that most people are of average intellect and sophistication.
