please don't tell me you're threatening Canada (I'm not too sure if you are, but just in case). If the United states where to go to war with Canada anytime soon, the vast majority of the world would just hate you more and more. We definitely aren't in a glass house, you are. The United States couldn't afford to go to war with Canada. Not only do we have a VERY defensible terrain, but unlike you we have very few enemies and lots of friends. We would probably be backed by Britain (who we are on very good terms with, unlike you), Belgium (who sends millions of dollars worth of tulips to Ottawa every year as a thank you for having sheltered Princess Juliana and her daughters in world war 2) and the U.N. would support us much more than you. Other nations tend to really like Canada since we are so polite and rarely outspoken, plus we like to avoid getting involved in conflict (btw thanks a lot for dragging us into this stupid war), so I could see lots of people siding with us. Since Canada would never throw the first stone, it certainly wouldn't help the world-wide opinion of the US, merely concreting the opinion that you are warmongers. Canada is a very peaceful nation seeing as the vast majority of our military contributions to the U.N. (if not all) where nothing more than peacekeeping (meaning as little violence as possible if any at all, our mission was just to try to smooth things over between other countries. The only military operation I know of where we are actually intending to kill people is the "war in Iraq", or as wikipedia calls it, the invasion of Iraq (which someone from a computer in a US military base tried to change to war with Iraq, but the moderators changed it back, because invasion far more accurately describes what is happening)

I would also wager that as that war was ending, regardless of the victor China would take the opportunity to stick a knife in your back as your forces are weakened (and Canada has worldwide the BEST troops worldwide person for person, even if our army is small so with our help we would make a fare sized dent in your army. We are constantly getting awards for the work of our snipers). China is the most likely superpower to singlehandedly bring you down and break your over-sized ego. Consider the fact that china has a MASSIVE population, and that a lot of what you own is made in factories in china. These people could quickly be conscripted and the factories quickly switched to military production. We would definitely give China tons of time, considering our allies and defensible terrain. We have so much land your forces would be stretched thin, and btw our winters are harsh if you aren't used to it (which I would only expect of the Russians). Once China invades it would mark the end of the United States. China would crush you with it's massive army and blind obedience. Also if you recall Tienanmen square protests of 1989, Their government doesn't mind callously mowing down their own citizens (mostly their college/university students) in a brutal show of force just to keep their government in power. They will think nothing of killing off every American who doesn't bow before them.

This is not a threat, this is a warning, in hopes of preventing a mistake you may make. You may be powerful, but not many countries appreciate how you seem to like bullying everyone around, which, btw, Canada is acutely aware of, considering how often you do it to us (however subtly you may think it is). I personally am fed up with it. I now suggest the same: those in glass houses ought not throw stones. I am not playing with a boulder, and the spell checker found nothing wrong with my spelling, so I don't know where the last line about spelling comes from.

Sorry if it seems like I seriously hate America, which i don't, there's just a lot of things about you that piss me off. I honestly wish you would take my advise for the sake of us getting along.

Again, i would really appreciate feedback, especially from other Canadians. I am also quite interested in whether or not people from other countries (not Canada or the U.S.A) agree with my opinions and what I believe would happen. Seeing as i don't live in China, Britain, Belgium or anywhere else other than Canada my opinions on your opinions might not be as accurate as I think, I'm making the best assumptions using what I have observed and what I've learned from the news, wikipedia, various other internet sources, and my father (whose pays a LOT of attention to politics, although I think he's far too conservative).

A note to all those who can't stand Americans: at least you don't have to live next to them. Canada has it hard having to deal with America being pushy and trying to control our government and how we run things.

P.S. i don't appreciate your generalizations, calling Canadians bitches and douchebags. I would like to have an civilized debate, not get caught up in unintelligent flame wars. Oh yeah and Canadians are notoriously quite and polite, and we don't have nearly as many "outspoken drunk bastards", so I'm pretty sure we're forgiven for the few "outspoken drunk bastards" we have.
