I swear, I'm almost ashamed to be a vegetarian with the stupidity of some animal rights people. This hermit crab is a pet. And if he's in that glass shell, he PUT himself there after shedding his old one. I truly doubt someone ripped him out of his old shell (physically impossible without killing him) and stuffed him in this one. He can always climb inside another one if he changes his mind. Seriously, calm down.so
