I'm too young to vote, though i do wish my country was not under Dick Cheney's "dictatorship" (we all should know Bush is just his puppet.) he has helped to run my backwards country into the ground. (i mean we do call football soccer.) though from the start i know my "country" was built on betrayal and lies. (I'm part Sioux and Cherokee Indian) The EUROPEANS who colonized this land killed and transplanted many of my ancestors, the original people of this land, to the shittiest pieces of real estate in the land. and it was only until those colonist began to not have a voice in England's government which they were supposed to be a part of that they began to call themselves Americans. From the Salem witch trials to the civil war we Americans have been killing each other for no reason what so ever other than thinking differently. once known as a country of revolution, change and hope we are now know as a country of fat, lazy warmongers. never mind the fact that we helped to create the UN and played a vital part in ending WW1 & WW2. As much as i am now ashamed to be called an American because of the seemingly obvious stupidity around me in my country, I KNOW, for a fact, that this stupidity is not exclusive to America. I have been to several countries in my 17 years of life and have experienced first had the stupidity of people in England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Monaco, France and several other countries. As for being a country of warmongers, i believe that our current government and some of the "sheep" in this country in fact are warmongers. But with the 2008 election coming up i can only hope that this country will get over it hissy fit that Hilary Clinton isn't the Democratic nominee and vote for change. I recently just got back (about a week ago) from Bonnaroo, a huge music and art festival, and the approximately 80,000 Americans and Canadians there, in Manchester Tennessee, were all for peace and against the "war" (invasion in my opinion) on Iraq. Hell, Most of us that were there even are struggling to find a convenient clean source of renewable energy and keep or carbon waste to a minimum. I know many think us dumb, and I'm inclined to agree, but you CANNOT call out our flaws without admitting to your own.
The tree are also actually really cute, not too accurate for some of the drugs they are portraying, yet still cute. ^-^
